      The short version: Eye Spy does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. All image processing and visual search happens entirely on your device. We never see your photos, your camera feed, or anything about you.
    

1. Information We Collect

We collect no personal information whatsoever. Eye Spy does not have servers, user accounts, analytics, or any form of data transmission.

2. Camera Access

Eye Spy requests access to your device's camera solely to power the live visual search feature. The camera feed is:

Processed entirely on-device in real time
Never recorded, saved, or transmitted
Only active while Eye Spy is open in the foreground

3. Photo Library Access

Eye Spy requests access to your photo library only when you choose to select a reference image. Selected photos are:

Stored locally on your device as reference thumbnails
Never uploaded or shared with any third party
Deletable at any time from the Eye Spy Home screen

4. Data Storage

Reference images and their associated names are stored locally using on-device storage (SwiftData). This data never leaves your device. Deleting the app removes all stored data permanently.

5. Third-Party SDKs

Eye Spy uses the following open-source libraries, none of which collect data:

OpenCV — on-device computer vision processing (no network access)
ARKit / RealityKit — Apple frameworks for augmented reality, governed by Apple's privacy policy

6. Analytics & Advertising

Eye Spy contains no analytics, crash reporting services, advertising SDKs, or tracking of any kind.

7. Children's Privacy

Eye Spy does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for all ages.

8. Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Given the nature of the app (no data collection), material changes to this policy are unlikely.
